General Tips

  1. This is the official guide for PuppetShow: Fatal Mistake.
  2. This guide will not mention each time you have to zoom into a location; the screenshots will show each zoom scene.
  3. Hidden-object puzzles are referred to as HOPs. This guide will not show HOP solutions. It will identify the location of the HOP and the inventory item acquired.
  4. This guide will show solutions for non-random puzzles. Please read the in-game instructions for each puzzle.
  5. In this game, you will sometimes have to select the new scene to trigger dialog, cut-scenes, or tasks prior to interacting with the scene.

Chapter 1: University

 

  1. Select (A-B-C).
  2. You earn MECHANICAL RAVEN.
  3. Take STUDENT PASS; read note; take PROFESSOR’S PHOTO (D).

 

  1. Talk x2 (E).
  2. Select (F).
  3. Take 1/2 BUTTON (G).
  4. Open case; take ELECTROSHOCK WEAPON; play HOP; take 2/2 BUTTON (H).

 

  1. Place BUTTON; select 1-6; take 1/2 BRAIN (I).
  2. Play HOP; earn UNIVERSITY EMBLEM (J).
  3. Place UNIVERSITY EMBLEM; take 2/2 BRAIN (K).

 

  1. Place BRAIN (L) and STUDENT PASS (M).
  2. Go right.

 

  1. Use ELECTROSHOCK WEAPON (N).

  4. Take 1/2 TOOLS; place and select SWITCH; take KEY (E).

 

  1. Place WOODPECKER; take MIRROR and 1/3 STATUE PART (F).
  2. Place SQUIRREL; take 2/2 TOOLS (G).
  3. Use KEY; take HELMET (H).
  4. Place HELMET; drag (I-J).
  5. Take 1/3 SNAKE HEAD and SCREWDRIVER (K).
  6. Walk down.

 

  1. Use SCREWDRIVER; take WIRES (L).
  2. Place TOOLS (M).
  3. Play HOP; earn AXE (N).
  4. Go forward.

 

  1. Move (A-B).
  2. Use AXE (C); move to (B).
  3. Place WIRES; solution (D); press down arrow.
  4. Move (E-B).
  5. Go left (F).

 

  1. Talk (G).
  2. Take HANDKERCHIEF; read note (H).
  3. Take 2/3 STATUE PART; use HANDKERCHIEF; earn SHARD (I).
  4. Take WINDER; use SHARD; take STAR (J).

 

  1. Use WINDER; take 3/3 STATUE PART (K).
  2. Take 2/3 SNAKE HEAD (L).
  3. Place STATUE PART; select 1-6; take ELDER (M).
  4. Take SOLDIER (N).

Chapter 3: Hall

 

  1. Place FACELESS, ELDER, SOLDIER, and WARRIOR; solution (D).
  2. Go left.
  3. Talk (E).
  4. Take 3/3 SNAKE HEAD (F).

 

  1. Open cover; take INSTRUCTIONS (G).
  2. Take TAPE RECORDER (H).
  3. CASSETTE on TAPE RECORDER; press play button. Play HOP; earn PASSWORD.
  4. Place SNAKE HEAD and INSTRUCTIONS; solution; earn CRANK (I).
  5. Use CRANK; take HOUR HAND (J).
  6. Select (K).

 

  1. Place PASSWORD (L) and HOUR HAND (M).
  2. Select hour hand; stop it on the first animal (N). Do this for each subsequent animal (O-P-Q-R).
  3. This mini-game is randomly generated; your solution may vary.

 

  1. Talk; take BALLERINA (A).
  2. Take 1/3 CAMPANULA (B).
  3. Walk down.
  4. Place BALLERINA; take FUSE (C).
  5. Walk down.
